So, why should you do analysis work on your site? Because it will give you a better understanding of how effective your traffic generation work has been.
I would suggest that you take your number one competitor and compare your site to his. Don’t choose the competitor that is miles ahead of you, chose the competitor that more exactly fits the niche that you are targeting.
One thing is sure: You will see where you need to increase your work. You will gain increased desire to improve your website.
You should know by now that promoting your site is a long and hard process. You need to work hard to get it noticed. You are competing against billions of other sites out there, so it is going to take some time and extra work. At some point, you will go over the hump and if your quality of product, quality of articles and advice are sound, then you will get automatic links built to your site by websites that like your site. Most of your hard work will be done, in this area at least.
