I came across the amazing article that discusses how people look at a search page. Enquiro evidently recorded the eye movements of people looking at a search results page in Google. Notice the map shows that the top-left is the real hot spot. The top three positions of the organic or natural search results attract 100% visibility and it only drops to 50% at the sixth position.
Very few people look at the right side where the pay per click ads are.
