Audacity is easy to use, but it does take some experience to use it efficiently. In this video we show how you can clean up audio by removing words a pauses that do not add to the value of the production.
You will see how highlighting the problem area and just hitting your delete key on the keyboard, you can delete words, parts of words and shorten pauses in your speech.
Audacity keeps track of every edit that you make, so you can go back by hitting the control-z combination on your keyboard. If you find that you have not edited the file correctly, just go back and do it again.
Audacity is very forgiving and intuitive - and it’s free.
